Beverly B. Palmer, Ph.D., a clinical psychology professor, has created publications and presentations on love, relationships, interpersonal skills, and sexuality.  The American Psychological Association lists her as the scientific expert on interpersonal attraction and relationships for journalists to consult.

She has contributed to dozens of magazine, newspaper and internet articles, including Allure, USA Today Magazine, aolhealth.commsn.com, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and, most recently, USA Today.  One of her most cited publications is “Love” in Magill’s Survey of Social Science (1993) and she has just completed “Interpersonal Attraction” for Psychology & Behavioral Health (2015).  

She has been a professor at California State University, Dominguez Hills for 38 years and has taught a course on love. Since 1985 she has also had a private practice as a licensed clinical psychologist, helping individuals and couples with sexual and relationship issues.
